About Miyeon

Cho Miyeon (조미연), better known as Miyeon, is a South Korean singer, actress, radio host, MC, model, and one of the main vocalists and visuals of the girl group (G)I-DLE. Also, she is part of the virtual group K/DA voicing Ahri, a well-known character of League of Legends.

Miyeon debuted with (G)I-DLE in 2018 with their first mini-album "I am" under Cube Entertainment. In 2019, collaborated with Hangzoo with the song “Cart”. In 2020 participated as a contestant in the “King of Mask Singer” TV Show with her first solo stage. In the same year, participated along with (G)I-DLE's Minnie in the OST “We already fell in Love” and later released her first solo OST “My destiny”. In late 2020, Miyeon appeared in "Seoul Connects U" and "My Dream is Ryan" along with (G)I-DLE's Yuqi.

2021 was a challenging year for Miyeon. In January she debuted as an actress on the web drama “Replay” and released two OSTs for it: "Dreaming about you" and "How to love". In February she debuted as a radio host on Naver NOW “Gossip Idle” and MC in Mnet M Countdown.

Miyeon also made a couple of collaborations, participating in CS Happy Entertainment's cs numbers album with "You Were My Breath" and with Raiden on his first EP, with the lead single "Side Effect". Additionally, she featured in Donghae's "Blue Moon" and Kid Milli's "Kitty".

In late 2021, continued with her acting projects in the web series "Delivery", "Adult trainee" and "Her bucket list" and released the OST "Imagine love". During this year, she also took part as a host in several web/TV shows such as "Quiz from the stars", "MBC 가나다같이, "Love catcher in Seoul" and "Get it Beauty Salon" as well as an MC in the Together Again K-pop Concert.

Currently, Miyeon continues as a host on Naver NOW “Gossip IDLE”, on Mnet M Countdown, and on the Google Play Korea mini-series "Calculus - 10 minutes with Miyeon". Her new OST "Someday", part of the KBS Moonshine drama is now out on the main-streaming platforms, go and check it out!
